Tags inside this makak say Nancy Naugon (quilled tag) and Mrs John Rice Lake (handwritten paper label). Also identified in Royal Collection Trust records as made by Elizabeth Crowe. RCIN 84335. 18.0 x 23.0 x 16.0 cm.

Nancy Naugon was 38 in 1861, married to John, a hunter, with four children. Emily Rice Lake was 45 in 1861. Born Emily James, she married John Rice Lake, a carpenter, and is listed as unable to read or write on the census.

Les étiquettes à l’intérieur de cette makak sont identifiées au nom de Nancy Naugon (piquage) et Mme John Rice Lake (inscription à la main sur une étiquette en papier). Les archives du Royal Collection Trust indiquent également qu’il a été fabriqué par Elizabeth Crowe. RCIN 84335. 18 cm x 23 cm x 16 cm.
